Last Friday I took my first dose of Methotrexate (only taken
once a week), I have severe Rheumatoid Arthritis and with how fast the disease is progressing I had no choice but to take start taking this very strong medicine. I was however blessed beyond belief, and did not end up with some of the horrible symptoms, at least for this dose. I only had a bad migraine and nausea all week. With taking the medicine, Jake was required to take off work to be home in case of a serious reaction, or just to take care of the house if I was sick all weekend, it turned out to actually be a nice relief with him putting in 80 hours a week lately!
By Saturday night I seemed to be doing good so Jake, my brother and sister in law took the kids down to "Metro Cruise" (something the town we live in puts on every year, people from all over bring their classic cars and park them all along the main road for people to come and see) while I took a nap to try and get rid of the migraine (1 of my 2 naps a year lol.) They took a few pictures while they were down there, so I thought I would share... Some of the boys are getting pretty good at naming a lot of the different cars, so I'm in the process of making a car Bingo game, I will share it when done.
