Friday Art Project: Easter Egg Sand Art

We finished up our Human Body studies today, I still have a few more Human Body posts to finish up. Next week we will be starting our Space unit for science, and Serena is very happy! Because of the fact we were busy finishing our 5 senses projects we did a simple Easter project this week. If you haven't had a chance to stop by please take some time to see Mama Of Many Blessings New Facebook page

I purchased peel and stick Easter eggs from Oriental Trading Company a few months ago, and that is what we used. You could also cut an egg shape out of thick paper and add double sided tape or even clear glue for the same effect.

Ethan needed some guidance because he though you needed to empty the whole bag of sand onto your egg. Maybe using a little spoon would have been better for him.

We punched a hole in the top of the egg and threaded some ribbon through to hang them with. Ethan even helped string the ribbon through the holes, what great fine motor work!

Here are all the eggs hanging in between our dining room and living room. What a beautiful festive decoration!

I have lots of other Easter Ideas on my Easter Pinterest Board, stop by and check them out!
