BLT Dip

My mother was an amazing cook, and this was one of the recipes she would take to parties and was always a hit, so I figured I would share it with you.

Kathy's BLT Dip


Ingredients:

1 Cup Sour Cream
1 Cup Mayo 
1 Package Bacon cooked well and crumbled into small pieces
1 Tbs Dried onion
1 tsp salt
1 tsp garlic
1 Tbs Parsley
2 medium Tomatoes
1/2 head of lettuce


Directions:
In large bowl mix together Sour Cream and Mayonnaise, add in 1/2 cup of crumbled bacon, dried onion, salt, garlic, and parsley, stir well till all seasonings are mixed in good. Pour onto serving tray, cover and leave in refrigerator overnight (thats how the flavor soaks in)

The next day before you are ready to use the dip take it out of the fridge, chop the tomatoes and lettuce, layer the tomatoes on top of the dip 

Then the lettuce, 

Top off with the rest of the crumbled bacon. We eat the dip with pretzel crackers from Sam's Club, I have seen the crackers at regular grocery stores as well.
