Easter Egg Decorating ~ Day 3

Welcome to Day 3 of our Easter Egg Decorating series, in day 1 we learned how to dye eggs using vinegar, water & food coloring, that is the recipe we will be using to dye our eggs today as well. In day 2 we learned how to make wax crayon resist Easter Eggs!

Today we are learning how to make marbelized Easter Eggs! I found this great idea on Pinterest and thought it would be a fun and unique way to decorate our Easter Eggs this year. This is such an easy way to decorate Easter Eggs it only took about 20 minutes to make (not including the time for them to sit and soak up the color)

Supplies Needed:

Instructions:
  1. Take your hardboiled eggs and crack the shells on them, being careful to keep the shell on the egg still
  2. Put your eggs and your Easter Egg Dye mix into a ziplock bag
  3. Let the eggs sit in the bags for about 30 minutes to soak up a good amount of coloring.
  4. Remove eggs from bag and take shells off your eggs.
Tip: We save our egg shells and let them dry to make egg shell art pictures!

I think they turned out so beautiful and colorful!!
